Rich, creamy spinach just like your favorite steakhouse. This keto creamed spinach is loaded with cream cheese and Parmesan for an indulgent side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh spinach
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wilt spinach: In batches, wilt spinach in a large pan. Drain very well, pressing out excess liquid.
  2. Sauté garlic: In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  3. Make sauce: Add cream cheese and heavy cream. Stir until smooth.
  4. Combine: Add spinach back, stir in Parmesan and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve: Cook 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately.
